HOW DOES IT ALL WORK?

THE WORD CUP BREAKDOWN

This experience will kick off with a FIFA World Cup themed launch in Philadelphia on Friday, June 12. There will be an introduction to countries playing, top players, and a list of all the games played in Philly including the dates and times, channels (or places to watch).

There will also be a list of all the games if kids want to watch other matches and not just the ones centered in Philadelphia.

Each participant will be challenged, and given a reading tracker, to read at least 40 soccer-related books to coincide with 39 days of soccer. These books will vary in types; they may be biographies, picture books, or short chapter books.

Students will be given a reading tracker to record the books they read over the 39-day experience.

After reading a certain number of books, the boys will receive recognition at reading milestones (20, 30, 40, 40+ books). Final rewards will be tied into the WORD CUP™ EXPERIENCE, such as mini one-day camps, stadium tours, team jerseys, scarves, patches, other gear, and potential meet-and-greets with players and coaches.
